Hunters reinstate commitment to end insecurity in Northeast

Nigeria Hunters Union in the North East Zone has expressed their determination to support Federal Government in curbing security challenges in the Zone
Addressing the participants the Zonal Chairman of Group Mallam Mohammad Tola at IBB Square Bauchi weekend,urged the participants to work as one family for the realization of the set objectives of the union.
Malam Tola who is the Adamawa state chairman of the union, said the union will not relent in supporting the federal government in the fight against insurgency and other forms of crimes in the area.
The Zonal Chairman who observed that this could not be achieved without the support of security agencies in the country, reiterated the commitment of the union towards ensuring that the ongoing fight against remnants of Boko Haram in the north east, successfully reaches its logical conclusion.
He called on governors of the six states in the zone to support the activities of the union in their respective states in order to achieve the desired goal.
Also speaking, the Zonal Secretary of the union Malam Muhammad Ibrahim Gombe, attributed the poor performance of the union in recent time to lack of support from governments and philanthropists in the area.
Malam Ibrahim used the occasion to express the determination of the group to screen all existing and in coming members with a view to flushing out bad eggs among them.
Earlier in a welcome address, the state chairman of the union Malam Nasiru Adamu, commended the zonal office of the union for giving Bauchi the hosting right for the meeting.
