Hajj 2017: 1,475 Jigawa pilgrims complete Umrah exercise

No fewer than 1,475 Jigawa state pilgrims has so far completed their Umrah exercise for the year 2017.
The Executive Secretary of Jigawa state Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Alhassan drop the while speaking to our reporter yesterday at Makkah city of Saudi Arabia.
He explained that, as of last Friday all the intending pilgrims from Jigawa completed their Ziyarah (visit of the prophet Mosques) at Madina and migrated to Makkah for Hajj and Umrah exercise.
“I want assure you that from the day of their arrival to yesterday Sunday all our pilgrims about 1,475 observed their Umrah exercise and now waiting to commence hajj exercise on this coming Wednesday.
Alhaji Sani Alhassan maintained that, during their six day at Madina, the board didn’t record single death of pilgrims from the state.
He maintained that, the exercise is going successfully, urging the pilgrims to abide by the rules and regulations of the Saudi Arabia and avoid any action that would tarnish the image of Jigawa and Nigeria at large.
The executive secretary, commended the state governor Alhaji Badaru Abubakar for giving all the necessary support to the board to ensure successful hajj exercise.
Meanwhile the Jigawa state governor Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Badaru has yesterday join the Jigawa state pilgrims to observed 2017 hajj with them.
The governor who take his flight on Saturday night arrived Jeddah international Airport accompanied with his aids for the exercise.
