13 male models accuse the Royals' favorite photographer Mario Testino of 'molesting them' | Mr Olumide's Blog

Famed photographers Mario Testino and Bruce Weber have been accused of sexual misconduct by male models and former assistants.

In an expose published by The New York Times on Saturday, fifteen current and former male models accused Weber of often 'unnecessary nudity and coercive sexual behavior, often during photo shoots.

And in the case of Testino - who has often photographed for Vogue and the British royal family - 13 male assistants and models said he 'subjected them to sexual advances that in some cases included groping and masturbation'.

Both of the photographers had vehemently denied the allegations against them.

'I'm completely shocked and saddened by the outrageous claims being made against me, which I absolutely deny,' Weber said in a statement from his attorney.
Lavely & Singer, the law firm that represents Testino, said in a letter in response to these accounts that the individuals who spoke with The Times 'cannot be considered reliable sources.'

According to Daily Mail,Testino, 63, is one of the most revered names in the photography industry. He shot Prince William and Kate Middleton's engagement photos, photographed Madonna with her first daughter as a baby for Vanity Fair and Princess Diana's 1997 cover shoot.

He recently photographed the February cover of Vogue, featuring Serena Williams and her daughter and received an Order of the British Empire in 2014.
