Ningi Monarch laments non-formal Tsangaya education

From Ahmed Kaigama Bauchi The Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa Danyaya has lamented that non-formal Tsangaya Arabic education undeveloped Northern Nigeria. Yunusa Danyaya made the lamentation yesterday when the leader of Jammatul Izalatul Bidi'ah Waikamatul Sunnah (JIBWIS) Sheikh Yahya Sani Jingir visited him in his palace. The Monarch explained that the old system of Tsangaya education without western education has contributed in the number of illiterates and extremists as according to him, "parents just send their children far away from them without recourse to how the child is doing and who is training him. "That is why we are backward in terms of development and in western education. How do you expect some of our children to be better persons in the society when you send them to somebody you don't know his antecedents to train them?
