Kaduna Deputy Speaker begs Southern Kaduna people, elites to join APC

Kaduna Deputy Speaker, Honourable John Audu Kwaturu, has called on the "good people and elites of Southern Kaduna to join the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC".
He said, "The time is ripe for realignment of political forces, just as we have it in the South-South and South-East ahead of the 2019 general election, where very notable PDP member defected and still defecting to the ruling party, APC.
"If highly placed personalities such as former Abia Governor , Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani, former Governor of old Anambra State, former Enugu State Speaker, Eugene Odo, several senators, State Assembly members and business men have joined APC because they have seen that the party is focused and working hard to make Nigeria a better place, I think our people need to have a rethink."
The Deputy Speaker, made the appeal in a chat with our correspondent, shortly after a closed door meeting with Zonal Chairman of the APC, Zone 3, who led 8 local government chairmen of the party, zonal women leader and other stakeholders on a courtesy call to members of the House of Assembly from zone 3.
According to him, there is need for the Southern Kaduna citizens to understand that APC has very good plans to develop and improve quality of lives of the people, especially those in the rural areas of Zone 3.
"I believe that the party in zone 3 has different look entirely; and if they join, we will surely move from where we are now to the next level," he said.
He assured the people that the party and Governor Nasir El-Rufai led administration in the State have well designed programmes and policies that will change the fortunes of Southern Kaduna and its people.
