Gwagwalada: Tipper drivers urge Council Chairman to rehabilitate roads

By Usman Shuaibu The Chairman of tipper drivers in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Ibrahim Yau, has called on the Chairman of the Area council, Hon. Adamu Mustapha Dauze to repair dilapidated roads to alleviate the suffering of motorists in the area. Yau made the call in an interview with Peoples Daily in Gwagwalada, urging the Chairman towards ensuring the fulfillment of his promises made to the people during electioneering campaign in the area. He however assured that his leadership would continue to co-operate with the current administration of Gwagwalada council for the sake of revenue generation at tipper garage. He appealed to the Chairman to carry the workers as well as the drivers of tipper garage along in the scheme of things. He also advised tipper drivers while they are on duty to always be in possession of their driver's license and other necessary documents to avoid harassment in the hands of police and traffic officials manning the roads. brought to you by Mr Olumide's Blog MOB
